Ashlee Powers, representing Cal Coast Track Club, placed second in the women's competition in 16:48 at the 25th annual Baldwin Park Pride of the Valley 5K at Morgan Park in Baldwin Park, Calif. Powers, a Corona del Mar CA and UCLA graduate, followed up her women's division victory July 4 at the Surf City Run 5K in 17:23 in Huntington Beach and runner-up in the women's division July 27 at the Cypress Run 10K in 35:00. Powers also discusses her new entrepreneurial venture as co-founder and CEO of Ashlee's Powers, Inc., making and marketing CBD Protein Bars, as well as her recent transition to using IFGFit sports bras, which helps correct posture, improves breathing and boosts recovery.
