Great Oak CA graduate and incoming Cal freshman Fatima Cortes placed fourth in the women's competition in 17:53 at the 25th annual Baldwin Park Pride of the Valley 5K at Morgan Park in Baldwin Park, Calif. Cortes was the fastest female athlete outside of the post-collegiate competitors, placing 80th overall, including the male entries.
